Terms of Service

1.1 Service Overview

SpeakSights is a voice credibility certification platform that analyzes your recorded speech and awards professional badge certifications to users who meet our credibility standards (overall score of 70% or higher across 7 dimensions). Badge certifications are valid for 24 months and serve as independent verification of your communication competence.

1.2 Badge Certification Standards

Badge certifications are awarded ONLY to users who achieve:

• •Overall score of 70% or higher across all 7 credibility dimensions
• •Minimum thresholds in each individual dimension (no failing scores)
• •Audio quality standards (clear speech, minimal background noise)
• •Human voice verification (AI-generated voices are disqualified)

1.3 Badge Tiers

Certified users receive one of four badge tiers based on their performance:

4.1 Email-Based Access

SpeakSights operates without traditional user accounts. Access to your analysis reports and badge certificates (if awarded) is provided via secure email links containing unique access tokens.

4.2 Email Requirements

You must provide a valid, accessible email address to:

• ✓Receive analysis reports and badge certifications
• ✓Access your assessment results
• ✓Receive payment confirmations
• ✓Get badge expiration reminders (24 months)

4.3 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access links and tokens. Do not share these with others, as they provide direct access to your reports and certificates.

SpeakSights offers a one-price certification model:

5.2 Currency & Payment Processing

Prices are displayed in USD or INR based on your location (auto-detected at checkout). All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, our PCI DSS-compliant payment processor:

• We never see or store your payment card details
• Bank-level encryption for all transactions
• Multiple payment methods supported (cards, UPI, wallets)

5.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Founding member pricing is locked for the first 500 users only. After reaching 500 certifications, standard pricing ($39 USD / ₹3,499 INR) applies to all new purchases.

5.4 Taxes

Prices may be subject to applicable taxes based on your location. Any required taxes will be displayed at checkout before payment.

6.1 Refunds ARE Provided For

We WILL issue full refunds in the following circumstances:

• ✓Technical failure: Processing error prevents analysis completion and no results are delivered
• ✓System error: Analysis job fails due to server/API issues and report cannot be generated
• ✓Duplicate charge: Payment processing error results in multiple charges for same assessment
• ✓Valid dispute: Manual review confirms legitimate service delivery failure

6.2 Refund Process

To request a refund for valid technical failures:

2. 2.Include specific details about the technical failure (error messages, screenshots)
3. 3.Our team will investigate and respond within 3 business days
4. 4.Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days

6.3 Free Retry Policy (Score < 70%)

7.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to your uploaded audio/video content. By using SpeakSights, you grant us a limited license to:

• • Process your audio through our AI analysis pipeline
• • Generate your credibility report and badge (if qualified)
• • Store analysis results for the retention period (90 days for reports, permanent for certificates)

7.2 Our Platform

All SpeakSights branding, algorithms, software, analysis methodologies, and badge designs are our exclusive intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of our service.

7.3 Generated Reports & Badges

8.1 License to Display Badge

If you earn a badge certification (score ≥ 70%), SpeakSights grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to display your badge for the duration of its 24-month validity period. You may display your badge on:

• ✓LinkedIn profile (Licenses & Certifications section)
• ✓Personal or professional website
• ✓Resume, CV, or professional portfolio
• ✓Email signatures (using provided formats)
• ✓Social media profiles (Twitter, Instagram, etc.)

8.4 Badge Expiration & Recertification

All badge certifications are valid for 24 months from the issue date. After expiration:

• • Badge MUST be removed from all public displays
• • Certificate verification page will show "EXPIRED" status
• • To recertify, you must purchase a new assessment and re-qualify (score ≥ 70%)
• • Recertification may result in a different badge tier based on new performance

8.5 Badge Revocation

SpeakSights reserves the right to revoke badge certification at any time if:

• Fraud detected (AI-generated voice, modified audio, impersonation)
• Terms violation (sharing credentials, modifying badge design)
• Misrepresentation (claiming false credentials, altering certificate ID)

Revoked badges are marked as "REVOKED" on the verification page and must be removed immediately. No refunds are issued for revoked certifications.

8.6 Fraud Detection & Prevention

SpeakSights employs AI-powered fraud detection to verify badge authenticity. We track where badges are displayed and may investigate suspicious patterns (e.g., multiple LinkedIn profiles displaying the same certificate ID). Fraudulent use results in immediate revocation and potential legal action.

11.1 No Guarantee of Results

We do NOT guarantee:

• • Badge certification award (depends on your performance)
• • Specific score or badge tier achievement
• • Career advancement or employment outcomes
• • Third-party recognition or acceptance of badges
• • Accuracy of AI analysis (AI can make errors)

11.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPEAKSIGHTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITIES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

13.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at legal@speaksights.com to attempt to resolve any dispute informally.

13.2 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13.3 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SpeakSights.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
